DIY 3D-Printed Neewer Z2 Round Head Flash Magnetic Snoot Modifier
During a recent product photo shoot for a client, I really needed a snoot modifier for my Neewer Z2 N Pro flash.
A snoot modifier is super useful as it allows you to have a narrow beam of light, which is easier to control.
Instead of browsing Amazon, I thought, "how hard can it be to design and 3D print one?"
So that's exactly what I did, and it turned out great.
I had some small 6x3mm neodymium magnets lying around, so I designed the snoot to allow you to press-fit four magnets to the front of the flash.
This means it's super simple to attach the snoot to the flash head magnetically.
3D printing the modifier
I used a Bambu Lab A1 to print the model using some matte black PLA Filament.
I just used the standard 0.2mm preset within Bambu Lab with the PLA Matte preset.

You're welcome to download the model and print it yourself, for free!
Use at your own risk, and be cautious of damaging your flash or melting the snoot with excessive heat from the flash.
I may create some different modifiers for the Neewer flashes in the future, as they could be quite a fun project.
